Člani ISOC.SI bodo aktivno sodelovali pri razvijanju umetne inteligence na področju kibernetske varnosti za bolj varen in odporen internet.

Slovenski ISOC Chapter z veseljem sporoča, da so se člani ISOC.SI pridružili projektu VANTAGE (Vulnerability Assessment aNd Testing Automation for Global Enhancement), ki je financiran v okviru razpisa DIGITAL-ECCC-2024-DEPLOY-CYBER-07-KEYTECH.

Ta pobuda prihaja v odločilnem trenutku razvoja interneta, ko umetna inteligenca postaja globoko vgrajena v digitalno infrastrukturo, ki jo omogoča internetna tehnologija in je namenjena zaščiti pred zlorabami, manipulacijami ali napadi. Potreba po izboljšanih rešitvah je tako tehnična prednostna naloga kot tudi temeljna družbena potreba. Hkrati pa ima umetna inteligenca izjemen potencial za preobrazbo zaščite, ki jo nudijo tehnologije kibernetske varnosti, saj omogoča bolj proaktivne, razširljive in natančne odzive na nastajajoče grožnje.

The Slovenian ISOC Chapter is pleased to announce that  members of ISOC.SI  have become part of the VANTAGE project (Vulnerability Assessment aNd Testing Automation for Global Enhancement), funded under the DIGITAL-ECCC-2024-DEPLOY-CYBER-07-KEYTECH call.

This initiative comes at a pivotal moment in the evolution of the Internet, where AI becomes deeply embedded in the digital infrastructure provided by the Internet technology intended to  secure it from misuse, manipulation, or attack. The ned for enhanced solution  is both a technical priority and a fundamental societal need. At the same time, AI itself holds vast potential to revolutionize the protection provided by cybersecurity technics, enabling more proactive, scalable, and precise responses to emerging threats. Through VANTAGE, ISOC SI members will work on harnessing these capabilities by deploying AI-driven tools that will empower  the solutions provided by Security Operations Centres (SOCs) and Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) across Europe.

The activity within the program  reflects the ISOC core values: a secure, trustworthy, and resilient Internet that serves people everywhere. Strengthening its cybersecurity through open and collaborative is critical for preserving the open Internet as a force for good.
